The Biodiversity Collage

Discover the power of nature and biodiversity

The key role of biodiversity: what does it really mean?

Biodiversity and climate are inextricably linked and both crucial to our well-being. But what exactly do we mean by biodiversity?

The Biodiversity Collage takes you into the richness of nature and lets you discover how much we depend on healthy ecosystems – and the impact humans have on them. This inspiring workshop is based on the latest scientific insights from the IPBES.

In three hours, you will learn how natural systems interact, how human activities disrupt them, and what opportunities exist to promote recovery. With more than 60 colorful knowledge cards, together we build a clear and in-depth picture of biodiversity step by step.

More background information on the Biodiversity Collage can be found on the French foundation’s website. The game was developed by Geoffrey-Edouard Vuillier, Géraldine Vuillier, Charles Sirot and Deloitte Développement Durable. It was modelled on the successful Climate Fresk, in which more than 1.5 million people worldwide have now participated.
